Guiding Light Tulip from Thompson & Morgan
We are delighted that Thompson and Morgan have named a tulip after CCIS and they are donating £1 or £2 from each purchase.
The tulip is named Guiding Light in our honour. More details of the tulip can be found here

Charity Golf Day at Seckford Golf Club, Woodbridge.

SUPPORT US AND ENJOY YOUR CHARITY GOLF DAY
The day begins at 11.00am with coffee and bacon sandwiches in the club house, after which the competition will begin with a 2 tee start at 12.00 noon.
We play a Stableford Competition with full handicap up to a maximum of 24 for men and 32 for ladies and the team prize will be based on the best two scores of the four team members on each hole.
Following the competition we will have a hot buffet when we will award the prizes, conduct an auction and enjoy the speeches.
The event is hosted by our Chairman, Jonathan Ripman
You are guaranteed a fantastic day’s golf with an excellent lunch, good bar and good prizes. Events such as Beat the Pro, Longest Drive, nearest the pin, and choose the winner will run throughout the day and our buggy will serve drinks while you play!
Entry is just £36 per person or £144 for a team of four.

Great British Duck Race
On Sunday the 5th September 2010 the ducks will be back in the water at Molesey Lock, near Hampton Court Palace for the 4th Great British Duck Race and an attempt at our own World Record of 205,000 ducks.
As always there is a massive first prize of £10,000 for the first duck across the line as well as a further 30 great prizes for the runners up
It is just £2 to adopt a duck simply click on the banner above or go to the "Adopt Ducks" section of the website and follow the simple instructions.
15th Ipswich Hospital Abseil
We would like to thank our team on brave abseilers who took part in the 15th Ipswich Hospital Abseil on 10th and 11th July. We had two James at different ends of the age range, Barry, Lina, Amy, Susannah, Siobhan, Tanesha, Hannah, Nick, Hazel, Ken, husband and wife team Zoe and Matthew, Donna, Colleen, Kevin, Gemma and 10 year old Alex.

Cancer Campaign in Suffolk (CCIS) is not part of any large national charity, but was formed in 1998 specifically to serve the Suffolk community. Every pound donated to the charity stays in the county to be spent on local cancer services.
