Kieron's Canoe Marathon
This Easter as you tuck into you chocolate eggs please spare me a thought. I shall be competing in the Devizes to Westminster canoe marathon, a 125 mile non stop race, in a two man kayak. The only time we stop paddling is to lift the boat out of the water and run around the locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal and River Thames. We will start on Easter Saturday afternoon and hope to finish by lunchtime on Easter Sunday
You will have guessed by now I would like you to do more than spare me a thought. Can I ask you to consider sponsoring me? I am looking to raise money for Cancer Campaign in Suffolk. Having lost my (younger) brother to this horrible disease at New Year it is a cause I feel especially close to. All monies raised will be matched £ for £ by Ipswich Building Society.
